Delivery time and shipping

Shipping costs in 2025

The shipping costs are currently:
- Netherlands €2.99 (free from €49.99)
- Belgium €4.99 (free from €59.99)
- Deutschland €4,99 (free from €59,99)

Our shipping rate is an all-in rate (e.g. envelopes, labels, postage and VAT).

Outside the Netherlands we only ship by parcel post because many delays are encountered with letterbox post.

From January 1, 2020, goods may no longer be sent abroad in an envelope due to an amendment to the Postal Act. This is only allowed as a package and we must also digitally report the contents of all foreign shipments in advance. The costs charged by postal companies for shipments abroad have therefore increased. As a service to our foreign customers, we cover part of these costs.

Why no free shipping?

We regularly receive the question, 'can it be shipped for free'? I would like to let you know why we cannot do this. The costs incurred for this must be paid in another way. Many online stores pass on these costs as a kind of surcharge in the sales price of the products. Then we would have to increase the price of the products so that the shipping costs become free. We opt for a great price for the product, unique and at an affordable price.

We do not choose to do this in an unfair way and offer great prices in our online store with free shipping above a certain amount.

Delivery time

We aim to ship your order within 1 to 2 business days. During peak periods, promotions, and in November and December, this may take up to 2 to 3 business days. We ship Monday through Friday.

Blomdahl necklaces and bracelets are not in stock, but are delivered to order by Blomdahl. The delivery time for Blomdahl necklaces and bracelets is approximately 10 business days.

Exceptions to the delivery times are the holidays and vacations. If there are different delivery times, this will be stated in the shopping cart. This way you always stay informed about the shipment of your order. During busy times, we also mention this in our social media. Also follow us on Facebook so you can keep up with all the news.

Shipping via PostNL and DHL

We always ship via PostNL or DHL. The delivery time depends on PostNL or DHL. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Please be aware of peak times during the holidays and place your order on time. This also applies to shipping orders to our international customers. For international shipments, please allow 3 to 10 business days for delivery. Staartjes en Strikjes is not responsible for delays caused by PostNL or DHL.

I have not received my order

Have you received a shipping confirmation from us but have not received the order after 7 days? Always let us within 10 days by email so that we can start an investigation. Please send an email to info@huidvriendelijkesieraden.nl with your order number and address details.
